The Villa

Casa do Marco is a typical Algarve villa set two miles from the sea and about seven miles from Faro airport.

It has superb views towards the island of Farol and is set in beautiful gardens - the perfect location from which to enjoy the delights of the Algarve.  Within the garden is a large sized swimming pool with more than ample sun terracing.  There are plenty of sun loungers, chairs, tables and parasols and a traditional Portuguese barbecue by the pool side.

The original old Portuguese family house has been restored to a luxurious standard. 
 

Accommodation

The accommodation comprises of a large sitting room with bar and satellite TV, main bedroom with en-suite bathroom (which includes a large corner Roman bath).

Fully equipped kitchen/dining room with washing machine and dish washer, two double bedrooms and bathroom.

Location

Casa do Marco is located in Pechão a typical Algarvian village.  There are cafes, a restaurant, shops, post office and several mini markets where you can buy just about everything.  Pechão is a convenient base for exploring the whole of the Algarve and is a short drive from the excellent beaches and world famous golf courses.

Olhão is the nearest major town and is an important fishing port.  About five minutes drive away, Olhão has a famous daily market selling fresh fish and vegetables.

The Area

To the east of Faro exists a myriad of attractive and unspoilt towns and villages.  Set amongst rich agricultural land and with bountiful produce of the sea so prevalent in local dishes, this is a gourmet's delight. 

An ideal location from which to travel to all parts of the region, Casa do Marco is set idyllically in the heart of the Algarve.
